Take Hugh Grant. Add a sprinkle of Tony Robbins, and a dash of Jimmy Page… and you’d have one %&@%-up mix but you’d have Seymour Segnit nevertheless. Perhaps his extremely sporadic personality can be partly explained by the very sporadic, interesting life he’s led so far.
Seymour was born in London, and educated at Westminster School, in the shadow of Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. After studying at Oxford, he worked as an account executive for the London offices of Ogilvy & Mather, and later at Saatchi & Saatchi. Throughout the late ‘80s and early ‘90s he could be heard as a regular on-air personality for some of the UK's top radio groups, including 95.8 Capital FM, Europe's largest most successful station. As a Creative Partner at The Blue Moon, one of South Africa’s top three corporate communication specialists, Seymour helped conceive and execute product launches for Coca-Cola and Virgin Atlantic Airways (“The best product launch I’ve seen for Virgin worldwide,” said Sir Richard Branson.)
In the late ‘90s, Seymour became a student, and then a respected teacher, of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy®. Both are founded on ground-breaking studies conducted at the University of California at Santa Cruz in the mid-1970's, which analyzed the methodologies of the most effective therapists of the day – Fritz Perls (father of Gestalt Therapy), Virginia Satir (to this day one of the greatest family therapists alive), and Dr. Milton Erikson (considered the greatest hypnotherapist of all time) – among others.
Today, Seymour serves as President of CTRN: Change That’s Right Now, Inc. Seymour founded CTRN to bring together the best accelerated change technologies in the world while at the same time making it affordable. CTRN's programs are currently available in 192 countries worldwide. Seymour has gone on to share his techniques, through his speaking as well as his critically acclaimed home study CD program “Vanquish Fear & Anxiety.”
